The Montreal Alouettes have this year decided to invite 7 CIS quarterbacks to camp for a couple of days. They have called this the “CIS initiative”. I had the opportunity to chat about this initiative with coach Trestman on monday and interviewed the 7 QBs about their experience.
Today, I had a the chance to discuss this initiative with the Montreal Alouettes’ General Manager Jim Popp. I wanted to know why the Alouettes decided to open their camp for a few days to those kids, and coach Popp is the man behind this whole CIS initiative.
